Softball Recap: Homedale Takes a Loss

After soaring to 25 runs the game before, Homedale was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Payette Pirates, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-7 loss back in April.

Homedale has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Payette, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Homedale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Payette, they have already played their next match, a 12-2 defeat against Cole Valley Christian on the 5th.
