Basketball Recap: DeForest Comes Up Short

DeForest came up into this matchup off a tough 31-point loss last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Watertown Goslings by a score of 43-40 on Thursday. The Norskies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

DeForest's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Watertown, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-14.

Looking ahead, DeForest will face off against Sauk Prairie at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Watertown, they will challenge Milwaukee Juneau at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
