Basketball Recap: West Branch Comes Up Short

West Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Durant Wildcats 56-24. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-40 back in January.

West Branch's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Durant, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

West Branch will square off against Wilton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Durant, they will take on West Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Durant has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
