Basketball Recap: Green Academy Comes Up Short

Green Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Mission Titans. That's two games in a row now that Green Academy has lost by exactly seven points.

Green Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Mission, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Academy will head out to square off against Burke at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Mission, they will venture away from home to challenge Boston English at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
