Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was the 69-59 winner over Pioneer when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Skyline Eagles were outmatched by the Pioneer Pioneers and fell 69-41. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Coming up, Skyline and Monroe will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Pioneer, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Pioneer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
