Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Sweetwater's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

There's no place like home for Sweetwater, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles 65-49 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-36 on January 3rd.

Sweetwater has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Coincidentally, Sweetwater and San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy will both be playing Grape Creek the next time they take the court. San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy will host Grape Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Sweetwater will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
