Baseball Recap: Laughlin Takes a Loss

Laughlin entered their contest against Pahranagat Valley on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cougars came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-9.

Joshua Meals led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Davis, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Laughlin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Pahranagat Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

While Laughlin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
