Atascocita is 8-2 against Summer Creek since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Atascocita Eagles will take on the Summer Creek Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Atascocita took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand King an 8-0 shutout. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Panthers are ranked 451st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summer Creek). They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Channelview on Thursday. Brooke Atkins was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Atascocita's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Summer Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Atascocita was able to grind out a solid win over Summer Creek when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 4-2. Does Atascocita have another victory up their sleeve, or will Summer Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
