Permian's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the San Angelo Central Bobcats with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Permian's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-12-2. As for San Angelo Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.
