Volleyball Recap: Jellico Takes a Loss

Jellico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Harriman, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Harriman this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-9.

Jellico's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Harriman, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jellico will challenge rival Oakdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harriman is set to square off against their familiar foe Coalfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
