Basketball Game Preview: Tippecanoe Red Devils vs. Franklin Wildcats

The Tippecanoe Red Devils will take on the Franklin Wildcats in a tournament on Friday. Tippecanoe will be strutting in after a victory while Franklin will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Tippecanoe beat Sidney 61-55.

Meanwhile, Franklin took a blow against Bellbrook on Thursday, falling 62-20. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 645th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 62nd).

Tippecanoe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
