Football Game Preview: Claiborne vs. North Greene

Claiborne will challenge North Greene on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. The two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for Claiborne and nine for North Greene.

Claiborne came within a touchdown against Cumberland Gap last Friday, but wound up with a 7-14 loss.

Meanwhile, North Greene have to be aching after a bruising 18-43 defeat to Twin Springs. The state rankings had actually given North Greene a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Claiborne were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past North Greene 55-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Claiborne since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
