Basketball Recap: Bergen Tech Takes a Loss

Bergen Tech lost against River Dell back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bergen Tech Knights fell just short of the River Dell Golden Hawks by a score of 51-48. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pat Sweeny went supernova for River Dell, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points. Sweeny is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. David Nunez was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven boards.

Bergen Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for River Dell, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Bergen Tech has already played their next contest (against Lyndhurst), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. River Dell has already played their next game, a 64-63 loss against Ramsey on the 4th.
