After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Coventry finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to the Ellington Knights. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Coventry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Roberts, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Coventry's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Ellington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Coventry will challenge Bolton at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ellington, they will square off against Enfield at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
