Football Game Preview: Raymore-Peculiar Panthers vs. Lee's Summit Tigers + Official Tickets

The Raymore-Peculiar Panthers will challenge the Lee's Summit Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Raymore-Peculiar is looking for their season's first win.

Raymore-Peculiar is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell just short of Lee's Summit West by a score of 27-25 on Friday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lee's Summit challenged Park Hill South on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 35-7 victory over the Panthers. The Tigers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Raymore-Peculiar better keep an eye on Karsten Fiene. He was instrumental in Lee's Summit's win, picking up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 112 yards and one score on only six carries. That's the most receiving yards Fiene has posted since back in October of 2024.

Lee's Summit was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 256 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 218 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

One reason for the win was Lee's Summit's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Park Hill South's QB won't forget Hayden Hinkle anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Lee's Summit's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Raymore-Peculiar, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Raymore-Peculiar was dealt a bruising 42-0 defeat at the hands of Lee's Summit in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Panthers, Brayden Layman (who threw for 220 yards and four TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
