Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Saint Thomas Aquinas

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Saint Thomas Aquinas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 victory over the Bishop Miege Stags. The Saints' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bishop Miege lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jayla McClinton, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. McClinton's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Mary Grant was another key player, putting up 19 points.
