Baseball Game Preview: Wilson Lakemen vs. Barker Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Wilson will face off against Barker. The Lakemen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Wilson turned things around against Barker on Wednesday. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Lakemen's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Tyler Durow was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Durow was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Austin Woodward was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Tyler Woolson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Barker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
