Waterloo is 8-2 against Wisconsin Heights since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will host the Vanguards at 5:00 p.m. Waterloo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Waterloo's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over River Valley. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Emma Baumann was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those doubles were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alix McCarthy, who went 1-for-4 with three runs and one triple.

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Wisconsin Heights and Cambridge, and Wisconsin Heights kept the tradition alive. The Vanguards had just enough and edged out the Bluejays 7-5.

The team relied heavily on Haley Wipperfurth, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Alyssa Stapleman was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Wisconsin Heights' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Waterloo, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Waterloo took their victory against Wisconsin Heights in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Vanguards have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
