Volleyball Recap: Lehi Pioneers vs. American Fork Cavemen
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lehi can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Fork Cavemen on Wednesday. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Cavemen recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Lehi still got an impressive performance from Elyse Wakumoto, who had 23 digs and two aces.
Lehi's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for American Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.
Lehi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Layton on the 29th. As for American Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Corner Canyon on the 29th.
