Volleyball Recap: Maryvale Triumphs

Maryvale posted their closest victory since March 4th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Crismon Rattlers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (61-55) Maryvale actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Isaias Zambrano paced Maryvale's offense, picking up six kills. Zambrano got some help from Jhonthan Garcia and his five assists.

Maryvale's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Crismon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Maryvale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Gilbert Christian on the 11th. As for Crismon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Parker on the 11th.
