Baseball Recap: Sierra Lutheran Comes Up Short

Sierra Lutheran lost against Battle Mountain on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons came up short against the Longhorns, falling 9-3. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sierra Lutheran saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Gleiser, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Gleiser is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Sierra Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Battle Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sierra Lutheran beat the Longhorns by a score of 9-3 later that day.
