Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Johnson walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Warren Warriors a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Johnson, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Johnson's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Warren, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-3-2.

Looking ahead, Johnson will face off against Round Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Round Rock will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Johnson surely won't give up without a fight. Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
