Soccer Game Preview: East Rowan vs. Concord

The East Rowan Mustangs will take on the Concord Spiders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Rowan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

East Rowan came up short against Robinson on Monday, falling 6-1.

Meanwhile, Concord had to endure a 15-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Harding University get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Monday. Concord's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last 13 games.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 2-16. As for East Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15-1.

East Rowan was able to grind out a solid victory over Concord when the teams last played back in March, winning 2-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Spiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
