They fell just short of the Tioga Indians by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Rosepine's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Tioga, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosepine will square off against Vinton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tioga, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southside at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
