Volleyball Game Preview: Cienega Bobcats vs. Nogales Apaches + How To Watch

Cienega is a perfect 10-0 against Nogales since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Apaches at 6:00 p.m. Nogales took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cienega, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Cienega got the win against Flowing Wells by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Caballeros: they've now won seven in a row.

Cienega was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Nogales was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Desert View, falling 3-0.

Cienega's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Nogales, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Cienega skirted past Nogales 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Apaches have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
