Basketball Recap: Krum Piles Up the Points Against Eagle Mountain

Krum won the last time they faced Eagle Mountain and things went their way on Friday too. The Krum Bobcats claimed a resounding 60-31 win over the Eagle Mountain Knights. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 26 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Eagle Mountain saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Moses posted 15 points and six boards. The game was Moses' 14th in a row with at least 15 points. Parker Boaz was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.

Krum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 19-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.1 points over those games. As for Eagle Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-13.

Krum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 86-58 victory against Bridgeport on the 4th. As for Eagle Mountain, they have also already played their next game, a 59-37 win against Springtown on the 4th.
