Basketball Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

Corry was the 69-53 winner over Franklin when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Corry Beavers fell 57-46 to the Franklin Knights on Friday. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Will Findlan was his usual excellent self, putting up 27 points for Franklin. That makes it three consecutive games in which Findlan has scored at least a third of Franklin's points. Nate Fezell was another key player, earning 12 points.

Corry's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Looking ahead, Corry will face off against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
