Volleyball Recap: Crest Lancers vs. Erie Red Devils

The Crest Lancers didn't have quite enough to beat the Erie Red Devils on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crest started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Lillee Gawel, who had 30 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Addi Martin also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Erie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
