Basketball Game Preview: Rosman Tigers vs. Summit Charter Bears

Rosman is on a nine-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Summit Charter a ten-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck is about to change on Tuesday. The Rosman Tigers will host the Summit Charter Bears at 8:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rosman is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Brevard on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Rosman had to suffer through a 61-20 loss at the hands of Brevard. The Tigers were down 43-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Hudson Reese was Rosman's leading scorer, having posted four points. Derick Friend held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-41, which was the final score in Summit Charter's tilt against Hiwassee Dam on Friday. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.

Summit Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rosman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Rosman against Summit Charter when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the team secured an 80-44 win. Will Rosman repeat their success, or does Summit Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
