Volleyball Recap: Covenant Academy Takes a Loss

Covenant Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Lauren Harrell, who had 28 assists. Those 28 assists gave her a new career-high.

Covenant Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Covenant Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against St. George's on the 9th. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Central Georgia Arts on the 11th.
