With a playoff win on the line, Evansville Memorial rose to the challenge on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Jasper Wildcats a 3-0 shutout. Considering Evansville Memorial have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Jasper with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jack Schnarr, Tristan Tas, and Cohen Havill.

The win was the fourth in a row for Evansville Memorial, bringing their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Jasper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5-2.
