Basketball Game Preview: Aloha Warriors vs. Beaverton Beavers

Aloha is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Beaverton a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Aloha Warriors will welcome the Beaverton Beavers at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Aloha was beaten by Southridge 88-43. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Skyhawks are ranked third).

Beaverton got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They skirted past Sunset 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Beavers have posted since December 10, 2024.

Aloha's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Beaverton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
