Rockvale is 9-1 against Riverdale since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Rockvale will venture away from home to face off against the Riverdale Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Riverdale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockvale, who comes in off a win.

Rockvale proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 49) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Blackman 45-43. The victory was all the more spectacular given Rockvale's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Blackman is ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. The contest between them and Oakland didn't end well, with Riverdale falling 55-37.

Despite the loss, Riverdale saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madison Taylor posted ten points.

Rockvale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Riverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.

Everything came up roses for Rockvale against Riverdale in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 70-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rockvale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
