Volleyball Recap: Tracy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lodi, Tracy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lincoln Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 19-25, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Pilar Zuniga, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Zuniga wasn't the only good servers: Tracy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Bulldogs are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Tracy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Tracy and Lincoln could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Bulldogs will challenge St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (329 vs. 158). Meanwhile, Lincoln (ranked 598th) will meet Lodi (ranked 225th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
