Baseball Recap: Ray Takes Down Pioneer in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Ray had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Pioneer Diamondbacks 9-7. The win was nothing new for the Texans as they're now sitting on four straight.

JARRON SANDOVAL was excellent, going 1-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of RAUL TREVINO, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Ray's victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Pioneer, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 18-12 record.

Ray will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Diamondbacks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
