Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 52-45 win over Banner Christian. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-54 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot to victory, but perhaps none more so than John Loftin, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. Loftin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Taylor Hamner, who went 6 of 14 to rack up 17 points and seven rebounds.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Banner Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will square off against Grove Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season. As for Banner Christian, they will challenge Brunswick Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
