Basketball Recap: Inlet Grove Hurricanes vs. Cardinal Newman Crusaders
With a playoff win on the line, Inlet Grove rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Cardinal Newman Crusaders out 54-51. This was a revenge game for the Hurricanes: when they faced off against the Crusaders back in January, they had to take a 56-55 defeat.

Inlet Grove found their leader in sophomore Robert Brown, who went 8 of 17 en route to 24 points. That's the most points Brown has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tayler Hodge White, who posted eight points.

Inlet Grove will take on King's Academy on Friday. King's Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matchups. Cardinal Newman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
