Soccer Recap: Victoria West Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brennan, Victoria West was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Churchill Chargers a 2-0 shutout. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Victoria West now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Churchill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Victoria West has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Odessa on the 4th. As for Churchill, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on San Antonio Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 16th.
