Volleyball Game Preview: Sterling Golden Warriors vs. Morris + How To Watch

The Sterling Golden Warriors will square off against Morris at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sterling is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Freeport by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Warriors.

Sterling easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Morris beat Plano 2-0 on Tuesday.

Sterling better focus on containing Alyssa Jepson and Brooke Thorson as the pair were huge in Morris' win. Jepson had six digs and five aces, while Thorson had seven assists and four digs. What's more, Jepson posted three assists, the most she's had over her last nine matchups.

Morris' win bumped their record up to 29-6. As for Sterling, their victory bumped their record up to 19-15.
