Sheridan owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Sheridan's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Hilliard Bradley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Sheridan and Hilliard Bradley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Generals (ranked 33rd) will meet Meadowbrook (ranked 113th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Sheridan 2.7, the Colts 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hilliard Bradley will take on Central Crossing at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (24 vs. 136).
