Softball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Watertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Washington Warriors. If the Arrows were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Washington, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington, they are taking a road trip to square off against Stevens on June 5. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
