Football Game Preview: Tipton vs. Grandfield

Grandfield had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They will be playing at home against Tipton at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Grandfield come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Things haven't been easy for Grandfield, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They took a serious blow against Maysville, falling 0-48. The state rankings had actually given Grandfield a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Meanwhile, Tipton got themselves on the board against Mountain View-Gotebo, but Mountain View-Gotebo never followed suit. Tipton took the matchup and then some with a 48-0 victory over Mountain View-Gotebo. 48 seems to be a good number for Tipton as the team scooped up a win with the same point total in their matchup two weeks ago against Thackerville.

Grandfield took a serious blow against Tipton the last time the two teams met, falling 0-52. Maybe Grandfield will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
