Basketball Game Preview: Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs vs. North Adams Green Devils

Lynchburg-Clay hasn't had much luck against North Adams recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs will square off against the North Adams Green Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Lynchburg-Clay came up short against Paint Valley and fell 52-44.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, North Adams' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to Hillsboro. While the Green Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 22-17 in the first quarter.

Lynchburg-Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Adams, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Lynchburg-Clay ended up a good deal behind North Adams in their previous matchup back in February, losing 57-41. Can Lynchburg-Clay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
