Basketball Recap: Spartanburg Christian Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Spartanburg Christian Academy had won three straight games and Delaney Caldwell did her part to make it four on Friday. The Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors came out on top against the Spartanburg Day Griffins by a score of 53-40 thanks in part to Caldwell, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 11 rebounds. Her evening made it 14 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jozlyn Barnett, who posted seven points and six boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Spartanburg Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Spartanburg Day, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Spartanburg Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-18 win against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest on the 28th. As for Spartanburg Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-22 victory against Greenwood Christian on the 28th.
