Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Delavan-Darien Comets, falling 67-44. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 75-49 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Delavan-Darien, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will take on Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton is facing Whitewater at the right time seeing as Whitewater is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Delavan-Darien, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. Edgerton will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Delavan-Darien surely won't give up without a fight.
