 Dansville is 2-7 against Newark since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Dansville Mustangs will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Newark Reds at 5:00  p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Dansville will roll into the  game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  on Friday, then bounced right back against Keshequa  on Monday. Dansville narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Keshequa  11-9.
  Reid Martin was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.  Mark Sick was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Newark had just enough and edged Geneva out  6-5 on Friday.
  Cody Forjone made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. Forjone has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Forjone was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Devin Littlefield, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Zach Casterlin, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 Dansville is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. As for Newark, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
