Basketball Recap: Tiospa Zina Comes Up Short

Tiospa Zina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Webster Bearcats 78-38. The Wambdi were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Tiospa Zina's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Webster, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tiospa Zina will welcome Hamlin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tiospa Zina has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Webster, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Webster Bearcats take on the Deuel Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Deuel knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Webster likes a good challenge.
