Lorena waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the La Vega Pirates. The result was nothing new for the Leopards, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Abby Vasser was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in February of 2024. Emily Ackermann was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
