Soccer Recap: Gregory The Great Academy Takes a Loss

Gregory The Great Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakeland Chiefs. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Gregory The Great Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Gregory The Great Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lakeland, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gregory The Great Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountain View at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lakeland will face off against rival Western Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
