Volleyball Recap: Aqsa's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Aqsa won the last time they faced College Prep of America and things went their way on Friday too. The Legends walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Thunder. The win was some much needed relief for the Legends as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The victory didn't come easy: College Prep of America scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for College Prep of America, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

College Prep of America will face off against Unity Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aqsa will be paying especially close attention to the Thunder's contest: after the Thunder face off against Islamic Foundation, they'll take on Aqsa again at 5:30 p.m. on October 10.
